Data from an organization shows that in the first four months of this year, BYD's electric vehicle sales in the Australian market exceeded 10,000 units, surpassing Tesla and making it the top-selling manufacturer.

According to the data, BYD sold 4,452 electric vehicles in Australia in April, up from 4,206 in March, showing month-on-month growth.

In January and February, BYD sold 2,779 and 2,969 electric vehicles in the Australian market respectively. Including March and April, their sales in Australia for the first four months of this year reached 14,406 units.

According to the market research report, BYD was the top-selling electric vehicle manufacturer in the Australian market in April and the first four months of this year, with Tesla ranking second.

Tesla sold 1,225 electric vehicles in Australia in April and 8,485 in the first four months.

Unlike BYD, whose sales have increased for four consecutive months, Tesla's electric vehicle sales in Australia fluctuated significantly in the first four months of this year, with 501, 3,274, and 3,485 units sold in January, February, and March, respectively.
